Welcome to Roark’s Reptile Safari where many people make that crucial initial decision to volunteer their time and energy on the road to becoming a better herpetoculturist, animal caretaker, reptile hobbyist/enthusiast, reptile breeder, or speaker. There’s plenty of hard work involved in the maintenance and feeding of a massive collection of animals such as ours. The rewards are greater than just the personal satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of the animals in your charge, or the growth, the knowledge, the expertise you’ll be exposed to on a daily basis. The real satisfaction comes from the glimmer of hope in a child’s eyes and the knowledge that you may be instrumental in their development. If you believe in "conservation through education," are dedicated to the truth and desirous of personal growth, have free time or will make time to be part of our volunteer organization then we would like to hear from you. Typically our applicants are students and adults from all walks of life who have an undying passion to promote wildlife conservation and education. We will strive to provide our volunteers the opportunity/environment to make a difference in that journey. If this sounds like you, be sure to tell us all about it at Bigsnakedaddy@sc.rr.com
